Impressive Antique Victorian Brass Double Bed C1860

Description

This is an absolutely superb victorian brass and iron double bedstead and dating from around 1860. It has brass top rails with prince of wales brass feather bosses and with vertical iron slats. The footboard has a fabulous brass diamond and circular motife joined again by the prince of wales feather bosses. All four posts are have brass joints and are topped with brass knobs. It has its original drop in irons and stands on original castors.

Dismantles for ease of transporting

Most handsome and impressive bedstead

Measures: 57" high to headboard X 48" high to footboard X 54" wide X 82" long

Takes a standard double matress
