The top of the chest lifts open revealing a deep storage space within, with a small candle box on the left and it has fielded panels on both sides
There are 5 dummy drawers to the front at the top of the chest, and a further four large opening drawers below, the drawer fronts are cross banded around the edges, they have original brass swan neck drop handles and original brass escutcheons

The chest stands on ogee feet, and it has very attractive reeded columns at each of the front corners. The chest has a wonderful aged patina and is in excellent condition with a small repair in the centre at the front, otherwise only minor age marks which add up to the character of the piece

This is an extremely large and heavy chest help will be required to move it when it is delivered
The chest is 42” ugh, 72” wide and 23” deep
