Early Victorian Walnut Chaise Longue

Description

An excellent walnut framed chaise longue from the early Victorian period. Of fine construction from a high grade of dense, solid walnut timber, now with a lovely warm colour and patina. The frame is decorated with carved detailing and has an eye-catching and unique feature of a carved roundel to the head-end. It stands on wonderful "tulip" legs which terminate in their original brass castors. The upholstery is in excellent condition, virtually spotless. There is a removable cushion and bolster. This splendid example of a Victorian chaise longue is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
