An Early 19th Century Delft Tobacco Jar.

The brass lid, with a slightly stepped centre, and baluster finial, fitting over the outward rolled rim. The body of onion shape, tapering toward the foot. The body with an entwined, ribbon tied leaf and flower crown surrounding the title 'TABAC A LA VIOLETTE 1802'.
