A wonderful mid-Victorian period open bookcase in burr walnut of generous proportions. Of very good construction in solid walnut and attractive burr walnut veneers onto a solid oak carcas. The break-fronted nature of this bookcase provides a deep central section flanked by two less deep end sections. Each section has a series of 3 adjustable shelves which offer a large capacity of flexible display space for your books. The columns flanking the sides of the shelved areas are decorated with stylish "bulls-eye" roundels. The whole piece stands well on a solid plinth base. We have had this lovely bookcase sympathetically repolished to a very high standard , it now has a wonderful colour an patina. It is offered for sale in overall excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home or office,
