Description

Splendid late 19th.c. oak waiting room bench c.1890. Over seven feet long with a low three panel backrest and superb shaped arms with scrolling terminals, carved with flower heads at the tops and large acanthus leaves at the base. Long seat with three loose cushions with buttoned upholstery in a dark green faux leather. On stout turned and fluted front legs with carved papyrus leaf detail at the foot repeated on the rear legs. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
