Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Other wide necked shades (5.5cm across) could be used if preferred. The light takes a small bayonet lightbulb.

The lamp measures 74cm in height including the shade; without the shade it is 62cm. The width across her arms is 36cm, and the base is approximately 17cm in diameter.
The figure is in softer colour shades than shown in the images, but photographing spelter lamps is difficult as highlighting one aspect, distorts the rest. The lamp is much prettier than may appear, and it is in very good condition with no signs of damage or repair.

The previous owner drilled a hole on one of the lily pads at the back of the lamp to fit the old electric cable - see Photo 4. Our electrician did the job professionally threading cable through the figure, and we decided to leave the gap 'as is' because it can only be seen if the lamp is turned around.
Postage and packing within the UK mainland only is included in the price, but for remote areas and abroad, please contact us for a quote for delivery.
