Antique Pine Mule Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique pine, dome top, mule chest dating from 1900. It is in very good condition for its age, and has been recently stripped to the bare wood ready for waxing or painting.

Inside you will find a candle box, typical of this time. The lovely original carrying handles are in very good order.

As with most mule chests you will find a drawer at the bottom, this is a very useful extra storage feature.

These boxes make excellent toy boxes, linen and blanket chests or shoe/mule storage chests.
