Gorgeous 19th Century Antique Marriage Chest Box

Description

A lovely, very old, antique pine marriage chest dating from 1850. You can still see the original paintwork to the front and top!

It is sat on raised bun feet giving it an attractive overall appearance. It also has a rustic, light coloured natural wood finish to it- which is very sought after at the moment.

Inside you can see the beautiful original strap hinges to the lid.

Nowadays these flat top boxes serve well as coffee tables or window seats. They can store plenty of things, such as, linen, blankets, shoes, toys etc
