A lovely old antique pine blanket box dating from 1872, in remarkable condition for its age. The date is still visible giving it lots of character and charm.

The carrying handles and beautiful lid hinges are the original.

Inside you will find a candle box, typical of boxes/chests of this time.

Recently stripped to the bare wood, and can be bought like this, in its natural state, for £220.

Flat top boxes make nice alternatives to coffee tables. They make excellent storage boxes, for blankets/linen/shoes and even toys!
