Antique Tambour Fronted Tall Oak Filing Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

Lovely example of an early 20th Century oak filing cabinet with 9 drawers and an attractive tambour front. It is solidly built from Oak with panelled sides and is in good usable condition. The tambour front slides smoothly and it comes with a working key. The drawers are clean and tidy and run well with an inbuilt stop when they are pulled fully out.

It is in excellent condition and has been sympathetically restored and refinished to give a superb patina. There used to be labels on the front of the drawers which have been removed some time ago but the small pin holes remain. The filing cabinet has been well used over the years but well cared for and there are no major damages to report.
