In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is in good original condition and is a sturdy piece.
There are some old surface scratches on the top of the buffet and general signs of wear and a small chip around one of the finials. There is also a small old split in the bottom tier which has been carefully repaired (see photo) and isn't detrimental. The buffet runs well on the castors and is a solid piece.
A very useful and functional piece of furniture.
