Georgian Serpentine Toilet or Dressing Table Mirror

18th century
Description

A very attractive shield toilet mirror above a serpentine base which is cross banded in tulip wood, with shell inlay to the top. The shell inlay was probably added in the Edwardian period over 100 years ago and it does nothing to detract from the desirability of this piece.

It is a very pretty colour and size. The serpentine base has 3 drawers with bone handles and are edged in boxwood line. It sits on ogee feet. Pretty brass finials sit atop the uprights.
