Stunning Antique English Figural Brass Candlesticks and Inkwell - Swallows

Description

About as charming as they come, this wonderful Victorian desk set was black when found and has been sent to our silversmith's for professional polishing which has produced the most outstanding set.

Both the candlesticks and inkwell have pairs of cast Swallows and retaining an original gilded finish. The inkwell retains it's ceramic ink chamber.

Dating to around 1860, they remain in excellent condition. The candlesticks measure 8" tall with a base diameter measuring 4"; the inkwell has a diameter measuring 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" tall.
