Camden Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The rectangular top is fitted with a sumptuous red leather hide writing surface. The two pairs of opposing drawers are fitted with brass hoop handles and the turned legs terminate in their original brass caps and castors. This lovely writing table is not over-large so would fit comfortably into the modern day home. It is offered for sale in excellent original condition.
