Each chair has a drop-in seat pad which has been freshly covered in Calico. They are now ready to be upholstered in a fabric of your choice. The price shown is for the chairs as they are. We can offer in-house upholstery for you at a cost of £20 per chair plus fabric. Please contact us to discuss this option if you want to have them covered.
The chairs have been well used over a period of almost 200 years and have developed a lovely rich patina with layers of use and history. They have not been refinished and retain many old repairs and signs of age. There is some fading to the wood and some general knocks and scuffs around the legs but nothing detrimental. The chairs are full of character and they have all been cleaned and polished and the joints strengthened and they are a good sturdy set of chairs.
