Description

A splendid burr walnut bookcase, or display cabinet, in the Queen Anne style. Very well made in solid walnut and attractive burr walnut veneers onto a solid mahogany carcas. The top section has 3 glazed doors which open to access shelved interiors. The shelves are in thick plate glass, are adjustable in height, and are strong enough to supports books if desired. The glazed section of the cabinet is surmounted by a triple dome top. The base section has 3 cupboard doors which open to access further storage. All doors are lockable with keys being supplied. This bookcase is of relatively compact proportions so would easily fit into most homes. We have had it sympathetically repolished to a very high standard. It is offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour and patina.
