A Gents 1940s Moeris Army Time Piece Wrist Watch

Description

A gents 1940s Moeris Army Time Piece wrist watch.

The watch has a Moeris 10.5''' hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated with a stainless steel screw-on case back which has the military arrow, or pheon, and the ATP code. There is some marking to the plate but overall it is very acceptable considering the watch’s probable World War 2 history.

The lens is in good order.

The signed dial is in its original finish… there is some marking and darkening but overall it has a really good appearance.

A later NATO style strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
