Handsome Pair English Sterling Silver Tea Caddies by Levi and Salaman

Description

An unusual pair of English sterling silver tea caddies, the organic shape almost Art Nouveau and the simple elegance of the Art Deco era. Each is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 together with the makers initials for the well renowned silversmith, Levi and Salaman.

Each is beautifully decorated with and engine turning including the lift off lids surrounding a central circular vacant cartouche. The interiors are lavishly gilded.

Both in excellent condition, each measuring 3 1/4" in diameter x 3 1/2" tall. The combined weight: 6.45 Troy Ounces / 200.6 Grams.
