Edwardian Embossed Silver Hand Mirror 1907

This wonderfully embossed EDWARDIAN SILVER HAND MIRROR was made by W.G.Keight in 1907.

The back of the mirror is heavily embossed with an intricate design of leaves, vines, birds and cherubs, which is carried round onto the mirror surround and the handle. The centre of the design has a large blank cartouche which could be used to personalise this lovely piece.

Free from any added engravings, initials or monograms, this in in very good condition despite being 110 years old. The mirror surface is free from any fogging or blemishes and has only one or two very small scratches. The silver embossed surface does have a few minor wear holes which is not uncommon in pieces with this type of raised design and of this age.

In very good condition (please see detailed report below) this beautiful mirror would look good on any dressing table, would make a fabulous gift or

could add to any collection.

There are no repairs.

Mirror Surface: The mirror is clear and has no fogging or blemishes. There are one or two very small usage scratches to the surface.

Silver Back: There is a small scratch on the cartouche and there are some wear holes in the silver. These are not uncommon in pieces of this age and with a very high degree of embossing, however, they are not noticeable and they do not detract from the overall beauty of this excellent piece.
