C1860 French Glass Dome on Base. Taxidermy

This is one of a few glass domes from a recent estate sale at south of France. All have been in the household for almost 2 generations. Circa c1860. Some age related marks but no damage as such. Please study all photos for details.

This glass dome stands on its round black wooden base with 3 feet. There is a tiny dimple towards the top of the dome, which would've been there since it was made (please see the last photo).

Measurements:

Height including base = 16 in/ 41cm

Base diameter = 7 1/4 in / 18.5 cm

Dome diameter = 6 1/8 in / 15.5 cm

Dome height = 14 1/2 in / 37 cm
