Description

A fabulous and highly sought-after cut crystal lidded box. The fine quality crystal is just superb, beautifully cut and tactile. The top is made from sterling silver, marked 925 and signed by the top-notch and collectible Norwegian silversmith, David Anderson. The silver retains some of the original gilding.

The top is what makes this piece so very special, smothered in pretty pink guilloche enamel, with a good shiny patina showcasing the decorative engine turned design below; the enamel without damage.

Pretty as a picture and a good sized piece measuring 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 2" tall. Dating to c.1910.
