Antique English Sterling Silver Desk or Counter Bell - 1907

Description

A beautiful and very elegant desk or counter top bell, with a solid base of English Oak, retaining the original covering on the underside, The shaped cut-outs and the top are decorated with a continuous raised scroll border.

The knob on the top is twisted in a clockwise direction creating a clear and authoritative ring, in full working order.

There is a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1907 and initials for the silversmith, Frank Cobb and Co. Ltd.

Excellent condition, the base measuring 4" in diameter x 2 1/2" tall.
