Antique Windsor Armchair

19th century
Description

A large traditional fireside armchair from the mid to late Victorian period. Made from Beech components and having an Elm seat. A type of chair referred to as a 'Windsor Lathback' and made in large numbers in the High Wycombe area. This particular chair retains the original finish which is now worn to reveal the underlying golden Beechwood colours. The inner seat area is 16" wide, 17.5" deep and the seat is 18' from the floor. We have more armchairs available
