Description

An antique 1917 Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Waltham Watch Company and it has the serial number 21795863 which dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The full hunter case is gold plated and was made by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case has an engine turned front and back and a coin edge. The case has a couple of small "dings" to the front and back although hardly noticeable but overall it is in nice condition for an antique piece.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Waltham, U.S.A. and is in nice condition.

The watch has gold hands with a blued steel sub second hand.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
