Description

Dating to around 1900, this is a top quality bread basket ready to grace the finest of dinner tables. Made of silverplate by the renowned London silversmith's of Mappin and Webb it is fully marked on the underside.

The fluted basket is crowned with a fine reticulated or pierced border and stylish cut-out little handles each end. The border is hand-chased creating a more intricate decoration.

A fine piece of tableware in top-notch condition and a grand impressive size, measuring 13" x 7" x 5" tall either end.
