Art Deco Solid Silver Four Slice Toast Rack 1915

This fine Art Deco ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER TOAST RACK has four compartments divided by a square arch style frame supporting a central handle.

The rack, made by George Unite & Sons in 1915, has a superbly shaped body / base that has rounded ends and is supported by four ball feet. The toast rack has five delightfully shaped dividers resulting in four toast sections and the central divider has a shaped handle on the top.

This lovely toast rack has not been engraved with any family crests or initials and one end has a full set of clearly defined hallmarks and there are no visible signs of scratches or dents as would be typical of a piece of this age.

This is an exceptional fine quality piece and is in superb condition and could be used as intended as a toast rack or as a superb desk top letter rack or would make a wonderful addition to any collection and would enhance any table setting.
