Description
Early 19th Century large Regency mahogany bookcase, the moulded cornice above a pair of glazed doors with brass grilles of intricate form, opening to reveal four adjustable shelves, with fluted columns running down from each side of the bookcase, the top and bottom doors fitted with a rope twist brass beading, the bottom section having two panel doors opening to reveal two divided sections each with two adjustable shelves, the whole piece standing on a plinth base raised on small bun feet. Circa 1820. 55" x 18 1/2" x 96" high. 140cms x 47cms x 244cms high. Martlesham Antiques is a family run business and has been trading since 1984.
