Description

Set of 6 early 20th Century church chairs, each with an individual book rest on the back of the chair. They are excellent quality with solid wood seats and a simple clean design.

These chairs have spent many years being used and we have not over-restored them to preserve their beautiful patina. They are very solid and sturdy chairs and would suit use in the home or a cafe / restaurant setting. There are some light scratches and marks on the seat and general small knocks around the legs but nothing detrimental. The chairs would have originally been joined together in rows by a rail of wood fixed to the back of the legs so there are small holes where this has been removed. The chairs have been cleaned and lightly polished and are ready for use.

Seat Depth : 14" (36cm)

Seat Width : 14 1/2" (37cm)
