The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed A.W.W.Co, Waltham, Mass and it has the serial number 11916564 which dates it back to 1902. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was originally guaranteed to wear 20 years so it is a good quality case. The outer case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use. There is light age related marking to the inner cover although very acceptable.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside is a glass lens which is in good condition. The enamel dial is signed Waltham and has red outer minute markers. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
