A charming Japanese Meiji period sterling silver trinket box rectangular in form it is lightly hammered and chased with iris growing from a pond on all sides, this splendid box has a hinged lid and a hardwood interior and is signed with a maker’s mark on the inner rim. The box has a very minor imperfection on the top right corner otherwise it is in very good condition.
