Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The handles measure 23cm in length using the back plate as measurement; the handles are 22cm including the brass decorative tops and bottom, with the glass handle itself measuring 11cm.
The handles are 8cm in depth from the wall, with the support between the backplate and handle being 4.5cm.
We decided not to polish the brass because some of our customers prefer us to leave well alone, but they would come up beautifully if given a light polish. They are in excellent condition.
