Late 19th.c. Renaissance Revival Carved Oak Hall Seat

Description

Unusual little late 19th.c. Renaissance revival carved oak hall seat c.1890. Highly decorative design with a deep moulded and carved top rail over large twisting spindles and carved uprights topped with splendid lions masks. Straight arms on pierced brackets and turned supports with acanthus leaf detail. Over a board seat raised on turned legs joined with stretchers for extra strength. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
