Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Each with a cover with rounded Spire finial, cut in eight panels, and spreading onto the bell shaped main body, cut with horizontal waved panels, topped by fine reeded ellipses, and finished to the bottoms with an overhanging rim and inner collar.
The vases tapering to octagonal socles, panel cut and spreading thence to stepped diamond shape plinths, with radiating star cut undersides.
The sides of the covers and vase bodies cut with apertures for spoons, ladles or nips.
Date c 1820.
Height 10 1/2 inches, width 4 3/4 inches, depth 3 3/4 inches.
