A Mahogany Victorian Period Antique Partners Desk

Description

A mahogany Victorian Period antique partners desk. Having a rectangular mahogany top with rounded corners and a honey coloured inset leather writing surface with floral and Greek key inlaid tooling. The front has an arrangement of nine rectangular mahogany lined drawers with circular brass drawer pulls. The reverse has three rectangular drawers and conforming left and right hand cupboards opening to reveal shallow mahogany shelves. Having solid mahogany sides and plinth. English circa 1880

Dimensions: 54" wide x 30" deep x 30" high (knee hole 24" high x 19" wide)

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition, working locks and keys. A wonderful colour and patination. Minor staining and a small burn to the leather writing surface
