Description

Superb pair of early 20th.c. bothy type leather armchairs c.1920. Slight differences in design, one with a wing back, one without. Both in tan leather with decorative brass studs, raked arms with broad flat tops, loose feather filled seat cushions and sprung seats. Oak apron across the front of both and raised on flared block feet. Obvious wear to the leather, beautifully worn with age, with good patina to the backrests and tops of the arms. Repairs to the leather on both chairs. The cushions have been freshly recovered in a black velvet.
