Description

Very smart Regency rosewood marble top chiffonier side cabinet c.1820. Figured grey marble top within a moulded edge over two slim drawers and two door cupboard fitted with a single adjustable shelf. Beautiful rosewood veneers to the front and sides. Trefoil arch cutaways to the doors with pleated silk panels. Crisply carved applied anthemion detail to the centre drawer front, flower head roundels and Corinthian capitals to the faux columns which flank the doors. Mahogany drawer linings. With a couple of repairs to the marble where a top shelf was probably fitted originally. Otherwise excellent condition and particularly good colour. Cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
