Silver Lidded Cut Glass Tankard

1900 - 1920
Description

A Good Quality Silver Lidded Cut Glass Tankard.

The lid of slightly dome and stepped shape, decorated with beading. The lid enclosing the rim of the tankard and opening with a shell shaped thumb grip. The cut glass body, decorated with two bands of hob nail cutting between a waved chamfered band. The lower section of the tankard panel and facet cut, in a spreading rounded shape. The rounded handle likewise chamfer cut. The underside with star burst decoration.
