Brass Inlaid and Parquetry Nest of Four Tables

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine quality French quartetto (nest of 4) of graduated tea tables. Of excellent construction in mahogany and kingwood. The table tops are decorated with parquetry work , surrounded with a brass inlaid border. The inlaid brass detailing continues throughout , emphasising the fine quality of these tables. They stand on elegant tapering legs which are united by cross-stretchers and terminate in charming brass cap feet. They have a wonderful colour and patina having been sympathetically cleaned and waxed in our workshops. They are strong and free from all wobbles, in excellent overall condition, ready to go straight into the home.
