Description

This antique burr walnut bureau is excellent quality & has a great colour too. It dates from around the 1910-20's period & is in good original condition. It also has some lovely features, so please enlarge all the images. The carvings are wonderful & the burr walnut is really tight. It also has a good interior with pigeon holes, a small drawer & a tooled leather writing surface. The drawers have original locks, fine dovetails & original brass drop handles. The well shaped solid walnut legs are hand carved on the tops. The drawer fronts are serpentine shaped & the top drawer has an interesting inverted curve.
