Description

A most impressive and glorious quality mid-Victorian DRINKS & GAMES COMPENDIUM in very good original condition.

Constructed of particularly well-figured coromandel wood, with Gothic-style brass mounts and handles, it contains its original set of 3 lead cut-glass decanters complete with "vine-leaf" wine labels. The twin compartments below hold three small liqueur glasses and a vacant adjustable section for cigars.

Further below is a drawer fitted with various games including cribbage board; playing cards; bezique markers; dice and rule books etc. The decanters are perfect ; complete with working key. A gorgeous quality and most impressive example.
