James Reeve (Quinneys of Warwick) has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
This chest has a good rich 'conker' colour typical of early mahogany. Is all oak lined and has attractive old brass handles. The are handles are not original to this piece but they are period.
It is a good size and would be equally suitable as a living room piece or bedroom piece.
