Late Victorian Tea Caddy by G.m.jackson 1896

Description

This beautiful high quality late Victorian Tea Caddy was made by G.M.Jackson in 1895.

Of oval form with lift-off cylindrical cover, crimped rims, chased and repoussé all over design of flower heads and C-Scrolls, enclosing two vacant cartouche within wrythen fluting. The base is of plain form whilst the top and the lid carry a superb geometrical chased and repoussé design.

This is an unusual and exceptionally well made item which would enhance any collection or would make a wonderful gift.
