Set of Artist’s Stationery Drawers C.1900.

Description

Very useful set of late 19th.c. pine workshop drawers c.1900. Sixteen drawers of graduated depth arranged in two banks, each retaining their original cast iron handles. Ideal for filing, artist’s equipment or stationery, at 35cm x 43.5cm the drawers are in fact big enough to take sheets of A3 paper. Solid pine cabinet and drawer fronts, raised on an unusually tall moulded plinth base. Some obvious old marks and wear, otherwise excellent condition and great character. Solid and sturdy with a particularly good colour and patina to the front. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
