A fabulous quality French bronze inkwell & pen tray c.1860 of urn form with a hinged, finial topped lid and circular pen tray. #the tray is beautifully decorated with cherubs playing instruments in the clouds and the urn is finished with festoons of flowers and Rams head handles. The lid of the inkwell smiles slightly when closed otherwise it is in excellent overall condition.
