Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The neck tapered to a ring, and thence orb body, with a small spreading foot rim. The body and neck mounted with the tall rounded handle. The whole well and attractively painted with sprigs of flowers, roses, carnations and tulips, with foliage and a beetle! The handle and spout decorated with scrolled dash work, and the edges picked out with line decoration.
In very good condition.
Date c 1850.
