A 1940s Silver Horos Pocket Watch and Chain

Description

A 1940s silver Horos pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1941 with a maker’s mark for the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just some slight unevenness to the case back.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in very nice condition and the blued steel Breguet style hands are a charming feature.

The watch comes with a single chain (not silver), which measures 28cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
