Gents 1929 Silver Uno Watch from Dimier Freres

1900 - 1920
Description

A gents 1929 silver Uno watch from Dimier Freres & Cie.

The watch has a signed hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for London (import mark), 1929 with a sponsor’s (or importer’s) mark for Dimier Brothers. Overall the case is in good condition, just a centimetre strip of unevenness to the edge of the case back, nothing too serious.

The watch glass is in good order.

The white enamel dial has a couple of very faint hairlines by number 10 but they are difficult to see with the naked eye. The blued steel hands are a handsome feature.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
