Description

Fine pair late 19th.c. ash and elm smoker’s bow type armchairs c.1880. Attractively shaped elm backrest and arms with turned ash spindles over generously proportioned elm saddle seats. On good turned legs, set at a splayed angle for extra stability, joined with double turned stretchers. Very slight differences in design. Excellent colour and condition cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
