Large 19th C Brass Light

Description

A 19th Century Brass Centre, Hanging Light. The loop top above a column of ring and band profile, running to a boss from which emerge the six scroll arms, each of which rises to a dished drip pan and vas candle holder. The lower section with a large orb, finished with a tapering ring and turned finial.

Date c 1850.

Height 27 inches, diameter 31 inches.

Great patination to the brass, well cast.
